GrowHaus Expands Urban Agriculture In Denver Using Spring Pots
GrowHaus Executive Director Coby Gould shows off some Spring Pots ready for a new home in Denver, CO.
The GrowHaus is based in a historic 20,000 square foot greenhouse used to grow fresh healthy greens and teach about healthy living. They continue to renovate space to accommodate increased food production, educational facilities, and a local food distribution network. Their mission is to create a community-driven, neighborhood based food system by serving as a hub for food access, urban agriculture, education and job training. Spring Pots are currently being used to expand and bridge the existing food distribution and educational programs by allowing students to take home and practice newly learned gardening skills.
